Cherine Fahd has uploaded some beautiful photographs from the student work exhibited in “Alternate Realities”.
Thanks to all who came out last night to open “Alternate Realities”, our exhibition of photographic constructions from the first year PSM students.
One of the most important and influential contemporary photographic artists worldwide, Gregory Crewdson is the seventh in our inagural Image Studies Lecture Series. Best known for his disquieting images of suburban life, Crewdson works within a photographic tradition that combines the documentary style of William Eggleston and Walker Evans with the dream-like vision of filmmakers such as David Lynch.
We are thrilled to host the event and to provide our students with a rare opportunity to interact with Mr. Crewdson. This event embodies our goal of creating unique engagements with leading figures in photography from Australia and abroad.
